Website Translation Ready Standard v1.0
Purpose
Make website content translation predictable, traceable, and scalable.
Scope
Applies to all website pages intended for public reading.
Language Baseline
Vietnamese (VI) and English (EN) are first-class languages.
Structural Parity Rule
The VI and EN versions must keep the same section structure:
•Same headings (translated, but same outline).
•Same ordering.
•Same “Future placeholder” locations.
Non-free Translation Rule
Do not translate freely.
Translate meaning precisely.
Keep the author’s intent.
Terminology Rule (CFP+ terms)
•Keep CFP+ terms consistent.
•Do not invent new translations for core terms.
•If a term is unclear, flag it for glossary decision.
Traceability Rule
Each translation must reference its canonical source page/version.
Translation Readiness Criteria
A page may be marked Ready for Translation = Yes only when it meets the minimum criteria below:
•Content is approved and traceable to its Source of Truth.
•Page structure is stable.
•Core terminology is standardized (or explicitly flagged for decision).
•No placeholders remain that would materially affect the translation.
•The page complies with applicable CFP+ Website Standards.
Publishing Readiness Flags (recommended)
•Ready for Translation: Yes/No
•Translation Status: Not started / In progress / Reviewed / Published
•Ready for Publication: Yes/No
